Question:

I have a retail space with 3 exterior alcoves, one is an entry to a dental office, the second is an entrance to a stair that belongs to the second floor offices of the dentist, and the third is a planter at the dentist office. The dentist tenant occupies two floors. The stair only services his upper unit. There are other tenants in another wing of the building. The building fronts on a street. Can the stair be calculated as rentable in this situation and 2) can the alcoves be considered rentable. I can send a drawing if necessary. BOMA referred me to you as their retail system is not yet available. Thanks, Scott
